This paper reviews and consolidates the experiences of the Fund Manager in delivering support to the private sector in post-conflict environments through the use of challenge funds. This report consists of a review of who the AECF supported in post-conflict environments, how they were targeted by competitions, what has been their performance and how they were treated differently from those in the rest of the portfolio in the form of management and reporting.
