Executive Advisor and Lead, Sudan Catalyser
Bringing over 30 years of experience in improving aid effectiveness, Mat provides technical and operational advisory support to the senior management team at AECF. He is focused on delivering our support into fragile contexts, including ongoing projects in Somalia and Sudan and technical inputs in agriculture, impact measurement, and fragility.
Mathias focuses on mainstreaming inclusion and impact in African private sector development finance after a long period of working with countries in economic and post-conflict transition. His current interests also include developing mechanisms to bring the private sector into the conflict and post-conflict space.
