REACT Household Solar end of programme event

On July 5, 2023) we celebrated five incredible years of implementing our Renewable Energy and Adaptation to Climate Technologies – Household Solar programme (REACT HS).

We reflected on the profound impact of REACT HS and the challenges faced along the way. Moreover, we explored exciting opportunities for future catalytic financing interventions to ensure the continued growth of the SHS sector, working towards achieving universal access by 2030 (SDG7).

REACT HS is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by the AECF. The Programme seeks to address the challenges of availability, acceptability, affordability, and accessibility of energy for low-income households through a market-based approach for private sector delivery of solar home system products and services in Malawi, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.
