Husna Omar
Head of Human Resources & Administration
Husna is dedicated to fostering a thriving workplace culture that prioritizes employee engagement, professional development, and inclusivity. With over 10 years of experience in human resources, she has successfully implemented strategies that enhance organizational performance while ensuring that employees feel valued and heard, ensuring a balanced blend between employer value proposition and employees’ unique value proposition. Her experience spans various countries in sub-Saharan Africa, the US, and Asia.
Prior to joining the AECF, she was the Head of Human Resources at the Karen Country Club, leading the strategic people aspects. Before this, she held a Human Resources lead role at Global Communities (Formerly, CHF International).
She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Strathmore University, a bachelor’s degree in communication, and a higher diploma in human resource management. Husna is a certified SPHRi, SHRM-SCP, and CHRP-K. Additionally, she is a certified executive coach and a RIKA Fellow.
Husna is passionate about her work and enjoys getting different perspectives from around the world.
