Investing in Women in South Sudan (IIW-SS)

The Investing in Women in South Sudan (IIW-SS) Programme is a five-year conflict sensitive programme aimed at enhancing economic empowerment of women in the agricultural sector in South Sudan.

IIW-SS aims to reduce gender-specific barriers for women’s participation in agricultural value chains, increasing adoption of gender-sensitive climate smart agricultural practices, and improving employment or livelihoods for women in agriculture and food systems.

The programme which starts in 2022 will benefit 4,000 small holder farmers and impact 24,000 lives in rural South Sudan
