The AECF Renewable Energy and Adaptation to Climate Change Technologies Fund (REACT) supports businesses from anywhere in the world to grow or establish innovative renewable energy, climate resilience or adaptation related projects that benefit rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Funding will be available for businesses that are commercially active or have a strategic plan to enter the Solar Home System (SHS) markets in one or more of the following countries: Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone.

Applications for the next round of the REACT HS Fund opens on Wednesday 10th of May 2017, with further details provided on the REACT website.

Applicants may apply for funding between US$ 250,000 - US$ 1.5 million.  Successful businesses will be announced by the end of 2017.
